| The year is 1968 and the Republic of Vietnam (RVN) has been harassed by Viet Cong (VC) instigated guerrilla warfare since it first obtained independence from France. More recently, the Republic has suffered from open aggression from the North Vietnamese Army (NVA). In 2008, MACV will sponsor major events to simulate infantry combat during the Vietnam war in the North East. Whether you are portraying an American grunt, a VC insurgent, or a NVA regular you mission is to participate in realistic combat operations while honoring the history of the combatants in the Vietnam War. |
